Just saw this truck on 02/27/12 parked on Barry Ave (a dead end street east of Barrington) off Olympic - not too far from where the poster of this blog saw it. The driver took off before my friend and I approached to ask about it. There was sod in the back...

I have pictures I took of this truck a couple of months ago also because I thought it was crazy and nobody would believe me withput a pic! I saw it at the stoplight on Washington and Lincoln.

I'm a receptionist at a commercial real estate company and I'm also a budding film editor, currently freelancing. I definitely meet a lot of people at the front desk at work everyday. Face-to-face networking is the most effective way -- I toally agree. I feel like there is an energy connection that is lost when you networking online.

One other thing to keep positive is to have goals and to strive to reach them by thinking of the people around you.

Sounds like you are a lucky man to have such a supportive girlfriend. Having a positive outlook on life is a wonderful thing. These are very challenging times and it's easy to get overwhelmed with feelings of negativity. If you listen to the news or read about it, the outlook can seem gloomy. "This too will pass." You don't mention what your career involves. If you're in a situation where you work alone or from home, it may be helpful to get out and surround yourself with other people. Networking online is great but it can't compete with networking face-to-face. You never know when a casual meeting can turn into the perfect opportunity for you.
